The first property, wire hardness, basically determine the target removal rate of the brush. Harden wires transit source forces pushed from handle/stud by direct or indirect mehod with fewer losses, therefore brush gets higher performance from perspective of removal rates.
The toughness, which is decide by both tensile strength and yeild strength. Toughness impacts the lifespan of brush wires. lower toughness will cause the wire broken or unusable in short time.
